Goddess Niki represents the glory of ancient Greek civilization. She was charioteer of the Olympian gods. Her cult included processions, libations and sacrifices, as well as supplications of the priestesses of oracles. Τributes, statues, altars and temples of the goddess were scattered in all the cities of ancient Greece. Nowadays, statues of goddess Niki (Victory) can be found in the Museum of Olympia and the Louvre (Winged Victory of Samothrace amongst others).
